Do not be deceived though and think you will have to rough it! On the contrary; our large Army Surplus Tent is fully equipped with proper beds, sofa, table and chairs, rugs & throws, everything to make your stay really comfortable. It has been furnished with great care and attention to detail. At night the tent is lit the old fashioned way with lanterns and candles. Not a tv or computer in sight. A quirky converted WW2 pillbox provides a unique shower room and kitchen, fully equipped with everything you will need.

A huge grassy space with fabulous views; perfect for crazy ball games or peaceful strolls, with plenty of exploring to be done by adventurous children. A great play area too around an old willow tree kids just love to scramble about on! A central firepit beckons come nightfall, promising cosy evenings toasting marshmallows and chatting around a REAL campfire, a rarity nowdays. Cook on the open fire, the barbecue or the gas stove in the kitchen, its up to you. Locals pubs serve great food and beer if you need a break and there's plenty to do locally if you can prise yourself away!
