LOCATION
Big Sky Retreat is located between the River and Railway line and can only be accessed via a footpath. Parking for 1 car ( poss 2 ) is a few hundred yards from the site. On arrival you will be greeted by a staff member who will take you and your luggage to the site and get you settled. Please arrive from 3pm and leave by 11am the morning of your departure. As there are farms nearby we are sorry we cannot accept pets.
As we are in a quiet rural location we ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm.
ENVIRONMENT
To limit the impact on our environment we have kept the site small with only one group here at a time. There are recycling bins on site and a composting toilet system proivdes superb compost for our veg patch! At the end of each season the tent comes down and the wild bunnies get the site back until spring! We hope to get some ducks and chickens next season so fresh eggs will soon be on the menu too.
