Frequently asked questions

 

 1) How do I book?   Check the availabilty page and see if your chosen dates are available, then email or phone for a booking form to send with your depsoit. Your balance will be payable 4 weeks before your stay.

2) Do you accept pets?   No, sorry we do not accept pets as there are farms nearby.

3) Are groups welcome?   No, we cannot accept large groups due to limited access and parking.

4) Are deposits refundable?   Deposits are only refundable if booking is cancelled 28 days or more before your stay.

5) What happens if I need to cancel?    No refund is given if cancellation occurs in the last 28 days UNLESS we can re-let the days you booked. If we can re-let all the days booked you will be refunded as such. If we can only re-let for example 2 days, the refund will be the cost paid by the new booking, which may not be the full amount you originally paid. You may wish to take out travel insurance to cover this eventuality.

6) What is included?     All linen, towels and utensils you need will be here. You will need to bring your own food. Please check with us if you are unsure of anything.

7) Is firewood free? We provide a generous stack of firewood free of charge that should last a good few nights. If more is required there is a charge of £5 per barrow.

8) What if we have infants/children?   We have a highchair, travel cot, change mat & Bebepod seat all available free of charge.

9 ) How many people can stay in the tent?   The tent can sleep up to 6. There is a double bed, full size bunks, a campbed and a travel cot. ( Please note you will need to bring bedding for the campbed / Travel cot ).

10) Is there car parking? Yes, but site can only be accessed via a footpath. Parking is a few hundred yards from the site. A luggage cart is provided to aid access.
